TWIA Actuarial & Underwriting Committee Meeting

The TWIA Actuarial & Underwriting Committee will meet via Zoom on Tuesday, September 22nd at 10 a.m. to formulate possible rate recommendations to the full TWIA Board of Directors. Share your thoughts with the Committee that any rate increase would hurt Coastal Bend residents and businesses by writing TWIA at PublicComment@twia.org. The deadline to submit written comment is Friday, September 18th at noon.

During the meeting, I implored committee members to reject any proposals to raise rates as our communities continue to battle COVID-19 and worry about major storms damaging homes and businesses.
